Canned replies

Save and reuse common responses to answer repetitive questions faster.

Canned replies (saved replies)

Canned replies let you store frequently used responses and insert them into a conversation with a few keystrokes, saving time on repetitive questions.

Creating a canned reply

  1. Go to Settings → Saved replies.
  2. Click New reply.
  3. Give it a short name (used to search for it) and write the content.
  4. Save.

Using a canned reply

Inside any conversation, click the quick-reply icon (≡) in the composer toolbar, or type / followed by a few letters of the reply name. A search dropdown appears - click the reply to insert it.

You can edit the inserted text before sending.

Variables

Canned replies support basic variables:

Variable Replaced with
{{contact.name}} Contact's full name
{{agent.name}} Signed-in agent's name
{{workspace.name}} Workspace name

Managing replies

Replies are shared across your entire workspace. Any Admin or Owner can edit or delete them from Settings → Saved replies.
