Session replay

Watch recorded visitor sessions to understand how users interact with your site.

Session replay

Session replay lets you watch recordings of visitor sessions on your website - mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, and page navigation - so you can understand how users interact with your product before they reach out for support.

Plan requirement: Session replay is available on the Gold plan and above.

How it works

When the Winora widget is installed on your site, it automatically records visitor sessions using rrweb. Recordings are stored for 30 days and tied to the visitor's contact profile.

Viewing replays

  1. Go to Session Replay in the sidebar.
  2. Browse the list of recorded sessions. Each row shows the visitor name (if known), page count, duration, and timestamp.
  3. Click any row to open the replay player.
  4. Use the playback controls (play, pause, speed: 1×, 2×, 4×) to watch the session.

Replay events timeline

Events are marked on the timeline:

  • Page views - when the visitor navigated to a new page
  • Clicks - click events on elements
  • Console errors - JavaScript errors that fired during the session

Linking to contacts and conversations

Each replay shows a Contact and Conversation button in the detail panel. Click either to jump directly to the contact profile or the related conversation in the inbox.

Live visitors

The Live tab in Session Replay shows visitors who are active on your website right now. You can see their current page and session duration. Use this to proactively start a conversation with a visitor who appears stuck.

Enabling session recording

Session recording is enabled by default when the Gold plan is active. To toggle it:

  1. Go to Settings → Widget.
  2. Find the Session recording toggle.
  3. Enable or disable as needed.

Privacy

Session replay automatically redacts input field content (passwords, credit card fields) and can be configured to exclude specific pages. See your privacy policy for details on how session data is handled.
